Psychotherapy & Counselling

Psychotherapy offers a confidential and safe environment in which you can explore and express your thoughts and feelings, without fear of judgement. The integrative approach draws from all schools of therapeutic thought, offering a personally adapted way of working with any issues you may want to bring.

The work often involves finding links between our past and our present and connecting with the messages of our bodies. By recovering our energy and restoring a sense of wholeness, therapy creates the chance for a fulfilled and harmonious life.

Introductory Sessions

A good working relationship with your therapist is central to the efficacy of psychotherapy. To that end, the initial consultation is a chance to make an informed choice about whether you wish to continue to work on a weekly basis.

Ongoing work

We would aim to work for an initial 6 sessions and then review. The agreement is open ended with no specific end date, unless required by you. Our therapists abide by the UKCP code of ethics and professional practice, and the BACP ethical framework.

To book an introductory session with a Riverwork therapist, please make contact from the individual therapist’s profile.
